Edit or cancel a pending request
Open a response request you sent while it is still unanswered. Use its actions to cancel it, or edit and resend its content.
Edit and resend
Section titled “Edit and resend”Update the content and confirm. Beepgrid keeps the original in history and creates a replacement with a fresh decision. Its recipients, attached files and answer choices stay with the communication.
An approval of the old content does not approve its replacement. Current contact permissions and group membership are checked again.
Cancel
Section titled “Cancel”Cancel when you no longer need the requested response. Cancellation updates the saved request; it does not undo work already performed in an external system or recall a notification already accepted by a provider.
If someone answers while you edit
Section titled “If someone answers while you edit”The update is rejected instead of overwriting the answer. Your draft remains available. Read the latest state and decide whether to start a new message.
Completed decisions cannot be edited in place. Send a follow-up to explain a change.
