Start with one connection
Section titled “Start with one connection”Follow the headless quickstart and run the complete developer tour in your language, or connect an existing worker credential. Keep its worker credential on the trusted runtime. A frontend uses an authenticated Person session instead.
Install @beepgrid/sdk and @beepgrid/react from npm, beepgrid from PyPI, or github.com/beepgrid/beepgrid/sdk/go through Go modules. Each language guide includes its installation command. The engine, CLI and MCP server are available through Homebrew and release archives.
Use the same communication model
Section titled “Use the same communication model”Send information with send / Send. Ask for a saved final answer with ask / Ask. Continue with the returned conversation ID. Use explicit shared-chat creation when several participants should see one conversation.
The operation reference maps the supported methods across languages. Read reliability before adding retries or long-running work, and live events for streaming UI updates.
Complete method reference
Section titled “Complete method reference”Every method has inputs, return values, lifecycle/permission guidance and an executable tour region:
- Python
- TypeScript
- Go
- Client configuration and errors
- React props and hooks
- CLI commands
- All MCP tools
