# Python data types

Complete public input, result, event and configuration fields.

These declarations come from the shipped SDK. Optional fields and defaults are explicit in the declarations; required fields must be supplied. Server-generated fields describe responses and should not be invented by clients.

Python returns dictionaries, lists and raw `bytes`; it has no separate exported request-model classes. The JSON field reference below is the Python data model. `Client` and `BeepgridError` are the two `__all__` exports. `mention_context(message, recipient)` is also directly importable and returns a non-authoritative addressing hint.

Use the complete [HTTP data models](https://beepgrid.com/docs/reference/models.md) for every dictionary field, enum, constraint and nested object. The method references specify which shape each method returns.
